Trevor Shaw, Shareholder, Wiggins Law

Mr. Shaw is a founding member and shareholder of the Firm, whose practice is focused on the defense of health care providers in medical negligence and administrative matters. He obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree from Mount St. Mary’s University in 2015 and in 2018, he graduated from the University of Baltimore School of Law, where he was the Publications & Public Affairs Editor for the Journal of Land and Development. He was also a member of the National Appellate Advocacy Moot Court Team, and the Co-Chair for the annual moot court competition. While in law school, Mr. Shaw clerked for a personal injury and criminal defense firm, as well as the Office of the State's Attorney for Baltimore City. After graduating law school, Mr. Shaw worked as an Assistant State’s Attorney for Anne Arundel County, Maryland, where he gained extensive experience with handling cases from their inception through trial at the district court level.

Prior to forming The Wiggins Law Group with several partners, Mr. Shaw spent three years with a medical malpractice defense firm, where he gained significant experience in the complexities of medical malpractice litigation. His litigation experience includes all phases of discovery, motions practice, and jury trials. Mr. Shaw has represented health care providers from a variety of fields in cases that involve very complex medical issues and high exposure. He specializes in defending radiology cases, and participates in risk management presentations to a large Maryland radiology group. Mr. Shaw is licensed to to practice in Maryland and the District of Columbia and is admitted to practice in the U.S. District Court for the District of Maryland.
